Estimates
Online requests and calculator results are preliminary and non-binding. A project is not scheduled and no price is final until TLC reviews the details and issues a written estimate that you accept.
Pricing and scope
Estimates are based on the information and photos provided. If the actual volume, weight, access or site conditions differ materially, we will stop, explain the difference, and agree on the revised scope and price before continuing.
Scheduling
Appointment requests are pending until confirmed by TLC. A confirmed reservation blocks that crew window for your job. We may reschedule for weather, unsafe conditions or equipment issues, and will give you as much notice as possible.
Cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Repeated no-access visits may incur a trip charge, which we will always tell you about in advance.
Deposits and payment
Where a deposit is required, it is stated on your estimate before work begins. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. Payments can be recorded by card, check or cash; online card payment is available once our payment account is connected.
Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe access to the work area, disclose known hazards (asbestos, lead paint, fuel tanks, electrical or structural issues), and secure pets and valuables. Work is performed only where conditions allow.
Hazardous materials and structural work
We do not handle hazardous materials such as paint, solvents, propane tanks, ammunition or asbestos, and we do not perform structural or load-bearing demolition. Wall removal is limited to non-load-bearing walls confirmed by a site assessment.
Permits
Permit requirements vary by town and by scope. Where a permit is required, the permit holder and responsibility are agreed in writing before work begins.
Property and debris
Debris removal handling is included in the scope stated on your estimate. Any dumpster, container or site responsibility that stays with you is listed on the estimate.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided for the job in question, to the extent permitted by law.
