A full cleanout is usually happening during a hard week. Knowing the sequence helps.
Walkthrough and a plan
We start by walking the property with you — or by phone and video if you are out of state — and agree on what stays, what goes, and what needs a decision later.
Set aside, then sort
Before anything leaves, personal and sentimental items are set aside. Paperwork, photographs, jewelry, tools, anything that looks like it belonged to someone specific. Those stay with you.
Work top to bottom
Attics and upper floors first, then main level, then basement and outbuildings. Working downward means the heavy stuff has a clear path out.
Separate what can be reused
Usable furniture, appliances and metal are separated from landfill-bound debris. It is better for the environment and often better for the bill.
Load and haul
Multiple truckloads are normal for a full property. Everything is removed, not stacked at the curb.
Sweep out
The areas we worked in get broom-swept so the property is ready to show, rent, or hand back to a landlord.
What we need from you
- Confirmation that you have the right to clear the property
- Access details: lockbox, key, garage code
- A phone number we can reach during the job
- A decision-maker for anything unexpected
That is the whole process. The part that matters most is the first conversation, where the scope gets honest.
